Notes |
- Rev. George Robertson was an Anglican clergyman, educated at Andrews College. He was licensed by the Bishop of London on 20 Feb 1792 and came to the colonies in 1793, at which time he took charge of the Bristol Parish. But because the population of the parish was primarily English and he was from Scotland, the Parish Vestry did not recognize him as the lawful Rector until 1735, four years before his death.
- The Rev. George Robertson settled in Bristol Parish, Henrico County, Virginia, and he, with others, patented a large tract in Henrico County, giving Jeffrey Robertson as a headright. Atlanta Georgia American, 25 Dec 1932.
