O'TOOLE JOHN P.
Of North Fayette Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2012. Born July 25, 1942 to the late Martin and Mary (Ring) O'Toole. Preceded in death by his brothers, Martin and Ray O'Toole and sister-in-law, Jane O'Toole. John leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Patricia (Rowley) O'Toole; his children, Sean O'Toole and wife Karen, Brendan O'Toole and wife Kristina, and Kelly Stevenson and husband Rob; also survived by a sister, Molly Morris and a brother, Joe O'Toole and wife Mary, and many devoted nieces and nephews. John found his greatest joys in his grandchildren, whose love and playfulness helped and encouraged him to survive many health difficulties over the past several years. "Pap" was so proud of his 11 grandchildren, and was often over heard talking about Keenan, Makenzi, Aiden, and Declan O'Toole, Jacqueline O'Toole, Jerry and Sydney Spath, and Abbey, Riley, Jacob, and Grant Stevenson. John served in the U.S. Army as an MP in Germany. Upon returning home, he had a diverse and successful career in the sale of specialty steel products and equipment, and later, in the inland marine industry. Most recently, he developed and operated Self-Storage of North Fayette with his brother, Joe. John will always be remembered for his selflessness and giving heart; he made it his mission in life to help all he knew. His witty and outgoing personality will forever be in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in John's memory to PALS (Providing Love, Assistance and Support), 400 N.
