- Most likely there are at least 4 additional children - born prior to Harriet and David. Family possibly lived in Allegany Co., MD ca 1863 - 1870, then relocated to PA. Brother Harrison was in MD in 1870, VA in 1876 and PA by 1879. Since Harrison's son, James Jacob married and resided in Allegany Co., MD, I think it is a safe assumption that Alexander and William would also be in the same area of MD.
