Samuel STRAYHORN

1822 - 1908  (86 years)

• Name	Samuel STRAYHORN
Birth	1 Jan 1822	County Antrim, Ireland
  Gender	Male
Death	13 Jan 1908	Ft. Wayne, Allen, Indiana
Burial	17 Jan 1908	West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery, Pennsylvania - Rockland 310
Notes	This family is a remnant, it is of interest because of the Antrim, Ireland origins and possible connections to our Strayhorns. 1860 US Census says daughter Elizabeth was born in Ireland, and if so, this narrows the family's arrival window in the United States. 1860 US Census in Philadelphia as 'Engineer' 1870 US Census in Philadelphia as Strawhorn, 'Works In Glass Works' 1880 US Census in Philadelphia as Strawhorn, 'Wks. Gls. Fac.' 1899 Philadelphia Directory as 'Glassworker'
