MRS LAURA V APPLEMAN, widow of John P Appleman, died at the home of her son, Lawrence Appleman, Kensington, Md, Saturday evening, April 17 at 7 o'clock from general debility, aged 90 years. Surviving are sister, Mrs. Elizabeth K Hershey and brother, A T Zentmyer, this city; sons, J P Appleman, Washington, D C, and Lawrence V Appleman, Kensington, Md.

The body will be brought here for burial leaving Kensington, Tuesday, April 20 at 10 am. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery with short services at the grave.

John and Laura were married January 20, 1869, performed at the home of the bride's parents, in Washington Co, Md by Rev J Baltzell assisted by Rev J L Grimm.

Laura married John Paley APPLEMAN 20 Jan 1869, Washington, Maryland. John was born Aug 1843, Maryland; died 16 Nov 1900, Washington D.C.; was buried Rose Hill Cemeterty, Hagerstown, Washington, Maryland. [Group Sheet]
