  1. 1.  Effa Jane STOVER was born 18 Nov 1874, Quincy Twp., Franklin Co., Pennsylvania; died 29 Jan 1965, Carlisle, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania; was buried Greenhill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania.

    Notes:

    MRS. EFFA JANE ZENTMYER, 90, widow of the late Newton Burns Zentmyer, formerly of East Third Street, died at 6 p.m. Friday at Thornwall United Church of Christ Home in Carlisle.

    Mr. and Mrs. Zentmyer had entered the home in 1953 and he died in January, 1960.

    She was born in Quincy Township, a daughter of the late Samuel and Susan Gilland Stover. Her early life was lived on the Stover homestead and in 1890 the family moved to Waynesboro where she lived until entering Thornwall.

    Mr. and Mrs. Zentmyer were married March 23, 1909. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

    Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. H. Clayton Moyer. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7-9 p.m. The Record Herald Newspaper - Waynesboro, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania - Saturday, January 30, 1965

    Effa married Isaac Newton (Burns) ZENTMYER 23 Mar 1909, Waynesboro, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania. Isaac (son of Daniel ZENTMYER and Sarah Katherine SNOWBERGER) was born 30 Jan 1880, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania; died 31 Jan 1960, Carlisle, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania; was buried Greenhill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
