1810 US Census in Iredell, North Carolina

* There is no numeral for John, age 50. We assume this is a transcription error. "Three copies of most federal censuses were created. The local census taker first created a draft copy as he walked from house to house to question the residents. He later copied by hand a second draft for the state, and a third copy for the federal government. Copying errors often resulted in slight differences between the various copies." -FamilySearch.org

Some researchers believe that the James, John, and Mark in the 1810 census record were brothers, which is possible, and that their father was the Thomas Marlow who died in Iredell County in 1811, which is unlikely given that none of the three were named in Thomas' Will.
