  Notes	John Marlow's 'Find A Grave' entry claims he was born in Granville County, which has been interminably repeated on ancestry.com. The person who created this record has blocked any inquiries, so it is difficult to assess its validity. We have found no other evidence for Granville County, and have not yet visited there to search the records.
